July is National Ice Cream Month, and to celebrate we have been enjoying plenty of it, not that we need extra encouragement to enjoy this sweet treat. Summer is in fact the best time of the year to have some extra ice cream in your life, the days are long and hot and a cool ice cream cone or cup make the days sweeter. I try to take the kids out for a cone at least twice a week and of course we always have a few flavors to enjoy while at home. Just three scoops of mint and chip ice-cream and some extra chocolate topping and we have a yummy snack or treat that makes our day so much better.
