My boyfriend is a salesman who drives countless of miles on any given week. Sometimes just to escape the monotony of the small town we live in, I like to head out with him on a workday. Doesn't it sound like fun to head out of the little town out into the big city? Well it is fun, but only for about the first hour. After that the dreaded carsickness and empty stomach begins to set in, because his first few hours are nonstop till we can reach Los Angeles. I usually try to make sure that I have at least a small breakfast, but you know how that goes. So even though we started our trip looking like this...
In a few hours we're looking more like this, especially me because I'm the one that gets to sit in the car and wait for him.
I don't even know why do this to myself every single time, but it always sounds like it's going to be a fun day. But let me tell you a few hours and many miles into the trip, it's not looking so fun anymore. That's when I become that grumpy monster above. Have you ever heard of the word HANGRY? This is when you literally surpass hunger and are now hungry and angry. Just when I'm ready to bite his head off, we'll make a quick stop for some SNICKERS® Extreme, and SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares. You can find these in the Walgreens candy aisle.
