As boring as our lives may be lets say compared to a New York City Rockette, it really isn't all that much when you think about it. Everyday when we head out the door, it's a chance to do things different to do something amazing and something wonderful. Yes, you know I am all about the bold lip and the power of makeup. See I don't see makeup as a mask or as a way to cover up something ugly, I see makeup as a tool to help us show of the best of us. With makeup we can take our best features and enhance them, we can also take our not so best features and make them better. And what makeup really gives us is confidence. I am a much more confident woman when I know that I look good, when I know that I am putting the best me forward. Confidence is a beautiful thing, and if you need a little bit of makeup to give you confidence, then heck why not?
Super important when it comes to feeling good and looking good is our skin. I was terrible in my teens and early twenties when it came to caring for my precious skin. It was not until I hit my 30's and the first wrinkles set in that I realized I had done a really bad job caring for it. But like they say, it's never too late to do anything and in these past years I made my skin a priority. I am 41 and I am a grandmother, but I don't want people to say that I look like a grandma.
And even though I make my skin a priority, I am super simple about it. I don't like having to spend a lot of money or having to spend a lot of time either. Simple is best for me.
