Giving More To Those You Love - Sammy Makes Six

Giving More To Those You Love

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Sears and Latina Bloggers Connect. However, all opinions are my own.

When I was a little girl I remember wishing so badly that there was some way that I could thank my mom for everything that she did for us. I watched my mom sacrifice and work herself into an old woman, just so that we could survive and thrive in this country, all while not even being able to speak English. As much as I sometimes complain about how hard my mom might have been on us as kids, she was a great role model when it came to showing us how to work hard and achieve what we might not think possible. I will always be thankful to my mom for having had the strength to raise 4 kids on her own and for bringing us to a place where our dreams could come true.

And just like my mom continues to be a great inspiration to me, so are my daughters. There really is nothing to a mom that is more inspiring than her kids, in my opinion. It is when I see them, that I realize how far we have come and how even though it hasn't always been an easy road, in the end we get through it together. I am actually very thankful to my girls because it is because of them that I had to grow up. It is because of them that I learned to see the world in a much happier way and it is because of them that I finally knew what real affection and love in a family setting could be. I thank them every day for making my life so much better.

If you could do something for someone you love what would you do? To demonstrate all the ways Sears offers more to its members and customers, it has produced a video series called More To You featuring surprises with real people, based on real tweets from people who want to give more to the ones they love. In the latest installment, Sears visits Jasmine, a young woman who wanted to do something special for her hard working father. Little did Jasmine know that he had a surprise for her as well. Watch the video below for yourself and share it with loved ones. It is so inspiring to watch how this daughter loves her dad so much that she Tweeted about him to Sears and how Sears helped her thank him.

Would you like a chance for Sears to give more to you like they did for Jasmine and her dad? Tweet @Sears with #MasDeLoTuyo and Sears just might read your Tweet and help you give more.
