Our car is not just a car, it's another part of the family. It's also one of the most important members of our family because it's the vehicle that helps us get life and everything that comes with it, done. From early morning till late into the night, my Flex is getting the job done. Our days are so full that it's pretty much non-stop for the poor car. Luckily our town is pretty small and between the kid's school, the college and stores, we can get everywhere in a relatively short amount of time.

Mornings are all about school drop offs. My three grandkids attend one school together which is nice because they can all get dropped off at once.

Being able to drop them off is a luxury because I know many parents can't do it either because they don't have a vehicle or they might be working. It's something that I definitely don't take for granted.

Then my little Sammy gets dropped off at her school. She goes by herself which is kind of sad, I'm sure she would rather go with the rest of the kids but she attends a great school and our car affords us the ability to be able to drive her there daily. The opportunity for her to attend a better school because we can drive her there is something else that I don't take for granted.

After school drop off and before I take my older daughter to college, I actually have a few hours to go home and work. This is when we do our coffee run and get ready to do as much as possible in a few hours.

Before it's time to start the afternoon pick ups.

My car is also my on-the-go office. In fact when I picked this car out I made sure to get one that has extra charging ports and I can even connect my computer for when we have those long trips out and still work!

When you work online, you're always on and I love that my car is virtually an office. That way on the weekends we can hit the road and I don't have to worry about being offline. I can work from the car and we can still get our roadtrip on!

There's nothing more precious than family and knowing that my family is in a safe and reliable vehicle is incredibly important. With such precious cargo on board and with so much to do, you know that maintaining our car is very important. That's one of the lessons that I learned early on from my mom who bought her first used car here in the US and then proceeded to own it for many years. Like us, she depended on that little car to do everything that came with having a large family, a job and give a good life to her kids. My mom took such good care of her car because in Mexico she didn't have the luxury of one, and that's another reason why I don't take my car for granted and instead I follow her lead and do the best I can to care for it.

A visit to our local Walmart Auto Center every few months for an oil change is one of the ways that I maintain my car. Not only is it very convenient but it's really affordable. The Pit Crew Oil Change with Quaker State ® Advanced Durability Motor Oil is only $19.88. I can take drop it off on one of my regular shopping trips and get the oil changed while I shop. Quaker State Oil is the #1 oil in Mexico and South America and gives great durability, perfect for an on-the-go car like mine.

The Walmart Auto Center gets the oil change done fast and easy. With so much to do back at home, I love that I don't have to spend hours sitting in a lobby waiting for my car to get the oil done.

My car is part of the familia, it really is, and I can't help but to love it. It works so hard for us every single day and it makes our lives so much better. Thank you Flex, you are the man.
