The holiday season is very hectic and for most moms it can become incredibly stressful. Our already busy days are packed with even more things to do, because of course we want to give our families a perfect Christmas. Right? I've spent most of my month running between stores, decorating at home and helping to prepare food. My shopping list still isn't finished (and there's only two days left to shop!) and I go to bed feeling like I ran a marathon. Then in the morning I wake up feeling almost the same because I was too anxious to get any real sleep.
But you know me, I always tell you guys about the importance of taking care of ourselves, first. I know. That sounds kind of selfish. Why should a mom take care of herself first? Well, if you don't take good care of you, during these hectic moments, you won't be shape in to take care of anyone else. That's why I always preach about taking some down-time daily as well as pampering ourselves extra in these moments of stress. Even if it means getting up earlier, just so you can have an extra hour to get yourself ready to face the day. And I'll tell you what, once you take care of you first, you will find that you are that more: energetic, confident, and ready to care for everyone else.
Today I am going to share a few tips on how to give yourself a little pampering, even with your busy schedule. It starts by going to Costco, which has been holiday central for me since November. Just this month I have gone three times to shop for food and gifts, and while I was there I grabbed a few items to care for my skin since it's taking a beating with the cold and stress. Taking two of the products I purchased, I will share how you can give yourself the gift of a holiday glow and healthy skin.
Visit Costco and purchase Olay products: I purchased: Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream & Olay Total Effects.
This is a special gift because it's for you. So why not make it a real gift by packing it up in a cute little box, or case. Add some tinsel to make it festive and a candle for burning during the hour you will be putting yourself together in the morning or at night. Add some chocolates for something a little sweet and then we will be adding great skincare that is affordable yet effective.
For my particular skin needs I picked up Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream & Olay Total Effects. My skin is 42 years old and it's really showing its age this year. I have a lot of really marked lines on my forehead and the beginnings of crows feet on my eyes, plus my skin is extremely dehydrated.
Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream is not just a regular moisturizer, this baby has anti-aging properties that help me reduce the appearance of wrinkles and regenerate volume on my saggy skin. With continued use, it can reduce 10 years of wrinkles in just 4 weeks! I think this cream is going to be my bff.
I am a grandmother of six, but I bet you wouldn't know that just by looking at my skin.
We won't talk about the gray hairs though.
We have many, many gifts to give away this holiday season. But let's not forget to gift the most important person the gift of a moment of peace to care for our skin. I know you will be stopping by Costco again before Christmas Eve, pick yourself up some P&G health and beauty items and take some time everyday to pamper yourself.
Which Olay product from Costco would you love to find under the Christmas tree this year?
