Life is very busy and while I am a makeup collector, I don't consider myself to be high maintenance at all. Just like every other mom who is juggling: work, kids, a home and a handful of pets, there isn't a whole lot of time to visit the hair salon for a fresh color or the nail salon every few weeks for nail polish. I've been coloring my hair at home since I was in my early 20's and I enjoy the convenience of doing it in my own time, at my leisure. I also really like being able to update my look for so little. How I Freshen Up My Look Quickly and Without a Lot of Fuss

Step 1: Apply gloves and using pre-treating step #1, treat ends of hair as per instructions. This allows for a richer hair coloring while preventing hair damage to ends of hair, which are usually more damage prone.
Step #2: Mix cream color with developing lotion.
Step 3: following the instructions in the box, apply hair color and leave for the instructed amount of time. Follow up with Step 3 of the hair coloring kit in the shower, towel dry hair and style.

My hair as usual is air dried and brushed, no hairstyling really goes into my hair. There just isn't the time to pull out the curling iron and honestly I don't like to damage my hair unless I am going to a special event.
