There are three televisions in my town home and somehow all three are always playing the Disney channel. If you have kids, I don't doubt it's the same thing at your place. Disney Junior is like a rite of passage for parents and later on the regular Disney shows, I think I know the words to every Disney channel show since the 90's, because my older girls used to watch the same channel when they were little. When I told Sammy that we would be having a Disney Junior party and that she could invite a few kids from class along with all the kids in the family, she was over the moon. A party with all of her favorite Disney Junior characters: Sofia the First, Doc Mc Stuffins, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. How fun!
Sammy could not wait for the day to finally arrive, and when the day finally arrived she helped set up and helped her sister stir the cupcake batter. As the hostess she was the first one to put on her Sofia the First crown and pose in the photo booth. This was a really big hit during the party.
After arriving the first activity the kids had was helping to decorate the Sofia the First cupcakes with candy pearls.
One of the moments the kids loved the best was when they got to put on Disney Junior tattoos. Everyone got a set in their goodie bag too.
Of course the girls all had to get a Minnie Mouse, Lambie, Doc and Sofia tattoos on their cheeks!
They also got to color their own Doc Mc Stuffin doctor/goodie bag.
There was dancing, playing with the Jake and the Neverland Pirate sets and a lot of posing in the photo booth.
The boys had so much fun during this Disney Junior themed party even though there were more girly things that boys. We already decided that Anthony can have a Jake party for his third birthday in July, so then we can do a lot more boy activities.
The best part of the family for the kids was getting to spend so much quality time together. Sam had been away from her niece and nephews for six months and was already missing the three school mates that where invited. So she had a lot of fun getting to play with all of them and just getting to be a kid enjoying her summer break with all of her favorite people.
Everyone else had a lot of fun too, they went home with plenty of goodies and Disney Junior swag. Come back soon to see a few more fun moments from our Disney Junior fiesta! And don't forget to visit the Disney Junior Facebook App until June 30th to submit Disney Junior inspired family photos for a chance to be featured on TV!
